What do you enjoy about teaching at Het Gymlokaal?
The philosophy of Het Gymlokaal appeals to me: getting the most out of yourself with minimal use of machines. And you get all the freedom to develop yourself!
What is your background?
MILO Education (personal trainer), Yoga Alliance, Calisthenics Masterclasses, V-circle coach (motivation-based coaching) and Range of Strength certified coach.
What is unique about your classes and the way you teach?
I work with a unique combination of methods that has proven highly effective for making the body stronger and more mobile. In my class you’ll be challenged to give everything you’ve got, always with respect for your individual limits. I believe in a tailored approach — and you’ll feel that, even when training in a group.
What is your speciality within the field of movement?
In my classes I offer a variety of techniques and exercises to increase mobility. Over time you’ll experience more strength, control and flexibility.
What quality should every good trainer have?
Passion for the craft, communication skills and knowledge. And the willingness to keep developing yourself. A good trainer is able to motivate people and get them genuinely enthusiastic.
What can people expect from you as a trainer and from your classes?
People will be challenged and will discover they’re capable of more than they think!
What can you offer or teach people?
I train clients to develop strength and control across an extremely wide and varied range of movements — to engage with their body more effectively and consciously. That makes you stronger, more flexible and more self-aware!
