What is your background in sports?

I have been personally practicing yoga for many years, and in 2020, I officially trained as a Registered Vinyasa and Yin Yoga Teacher after immersing myself in a beautiful yoga shala in Goa, India. Alongside my yoga journey, I have a professional background in social work and mental health, specializing in holistic wellness. I enjoy incorporating my professional knowledge into creating a safe and accessible yoga class.

What can people expect from your classes?

In my classes, I love to teach strong, dynamic, and playful yoga flows accompanied by modern and up-tempo nontraditional yoga music. I enjoy blending challenging flows with powerful songs, as it allows our minds to quiet and our bodies to fully engage and be present. You can expect a mix of powerful movements, opportunities for playfulness, the courage to fall and rise again, and the willingness to keep trying.

Is there something special or specific you want to teach your students?

I want to emphasize that yoga is for every body. It doesn’t matter how flexible or strong you are, what body type you have, or what clothes you wear. Yoga is a state of being, a practice that invites you to take only what you need and leave behind anything that doesn’t serve you. It’s about finding that magical place where body, mind, and spirit align in awareness and connection.
