What do you like most about teaching at Het Gymlokaal?

There is always a relaxed and chill atmosphere at Het Gymlokaal and I really enjoy teaching there. What I enjoy the most is to let people go home with a feeling of fulfillment and satisfaction.

What is your background?

I have completed the following courses: HBO Sport and exercise (lifestyle & health), Aalo personal trainer, Functional Range Conditioning mobility specialist (FRCms), certified Ashtanga Vinyasa Teacher and Pilates instructor.

I also specialize in online movement lessons such as Fighting Monkey and Ido Portal method.

What is unique about your lessons / way of teaching?

I teach various classes: Yoga, Mobility and Flow, using professional tools with a personal touch. I combine years of experience from different disciplines to develop lessons that are accessible to everyone. My mission is to make people feel better, not only physically, but also mentally.

What is your specialty in the field of movement?

In my lessons I focus on regaining freedom of movement, challenge yourself in a playful way and learn new movement patterns in fun ways. The end result is that students will be able to move with more ease, seamlessly, with more flexibility and without pain

What quality should every good trainer possess?

I am thinking of self-confidence, integrity, empathy, creativity, being able to adapt quickly and communicate clearly.

What can people expect from you as a trainer and from your lessons?

Whether you want to get stronger, work on your fitness or strive for a healthier lifestyle for body and mind, I hope I can lead people to (re) discover discover the pleasure of exercising. Using a combination of disciplines such as strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination and relaxation. I ensure that every class is different and that people feel completely satisfied afterwards.
